Welcome to Friends Fur Life Rescue!
We are animal lovers who work to find FUREVER homes for homeless pets. We are a 501(c)3 status, no-kill rescue and rely on the donations of our supporters. Even though we are currently raising money for our physical building we are still rescuing those animals in need. Our rescues will be taken into foster homes to prepare them for adoption. Our main focus is for those animals that have been abused, neglected, or abandoned as we live by our motto: "Because they ALL deserve a furever home". We also have an animal food bank for families going through difficult times called Bella's Bounty.
At Friends Fur Life Rescue, we are always in need of fosters, volunteers, and those willing to help out when needed. If you're interested in making a difference in the life of a homeless animal, please contact us! Check out our Events page for where we'll be and all the fundraisers we have planned!
What makes FFLR different?
It is our heart's work to help those facing certain death, such as; those on the euthanasia list at local shelters, abandoned animals, those that have been abused, and hoarding cases. These are usually the ones that have been forgotten by society but we feel they are worth saving no matter their breed or situation. We usually don't take in owner surrenders.

May's Pet of the month!
This is Sissy. We've not
DNA tested her, but we do guarantee her to be an UPSIDE DOWN BEAGLE. This is
how Sissy spends 50+% of her time, although she's happy to go for a walk...if
you carry her outside. Great thing about upside down beagles - they get into
VERY LITTLE trouble and you seldom have to look further than upholstered
furniture to find them. Another BIG plus to upside down beagles, they seldom
ever bark while upside down.
Sissy is quite the congenial girl! Does fine with dogs, cats and people of all
sizes. Don't be fooled by her curvy figure, Sissy is an athlete in her own
right. Once carried outside and turned right side up, she can hold her own in a
walk around the park! She's loves treats, belly rubs, treats, car rides and
certainly doesn't appear to have had a rough life she did end up on "death
row" at a high kill rural shelter. She's now fully vetted and ready for an
upholstered piece of furniture, as well as an awesome person or family, to call
